Started out as a youth worker who focused on leadership development for girls and young women at Alternatives Inc. in Uptown. Expanded to build citywide collaborations for girl-centered youth programs through the Chicago Girls’ Coalition. For the past 14 years, has built an independent consulting practice that provides opportunities to collaborate with nonprofits, universities, community-based health collectives, schools and government offices.

2) Community-Based Participatory Action Researcher
Facilitates highly participatory research projects that center
the people most impacted by the issue. Teams comprised of
staff, program participants and board members are coached through
every step of the research process:

3) Inclusion Consultant & Advocate
Founder and co-facilitator of the Parent Circle, a parent-run
support and advocacy group for parents of kids who have disabilities.
Facilitated monthly Parent Circle meetings for five years
at an elementary school on Chicago’s north side. Worked as an
Inclusion Consultant for Aspire Inc. making recommendations for short term
and long term shifts towards inclusive policies and culture.

4) Decentralizing Whiteness Facilitator
Facilitates one time workshops and/or ongoing processes with people
of European descent who want to dismantle and heal white supremacy.
